I’m trying to stay nice.  In fact, I’ve been soooooooooooooooooooooooooo nice for four and a half years!  Acquiescing to Danielle.  Doing anything to make this marriage work.  And don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t trade this time for anything because we still had four more great years of marriage and most importantly, I was able to spend this time with Emily which is the best part.  But in the end of all this niceness, where has it gotten me?  Probably to the same place as I would have gotten to if I have been less nice.
